Anaheim district’s OCVIBE plans to redefine its downtown experience in Orange County. Located near the Honda Center and lateral to Anaheim’s Angel Stadium, OCVIBE is located in a 100-acre plot that intends to incorporate an entertainment district, vibrant culture, and a connected community through shared experience.
Large halls and performance centers make room for live concerts and spaces for private events–building the premier entertainment at the heart of Orange County. Moreover, this local spectrum targets fans of the local ice hockey team, the Anaheim Ducks, to grab a quick bite and celebrate themed events before or after a game.
Portraying Anaheim’s significant features, this super district spans twenty acres of open green space with themed parks and allocated areas for community gatherings as well as special events. Office space also takes up a large portion of the acres with modern design solace and a working campus for Orange County’s employers and employees.
This four-billion-dollar investment is funded by the Samueli family, who majorly owns the Anaheim Ducks and are also operators of the Honda Center. After receiving approval of construction from the Anaheim City Council, construction began in early March of 2025 and is expected to finish in 2029. However, the super district plans to open itself up to the public in 2032. In late 2026, they plan to construct the market hall and open the concert venue, while in 2027, more entertainment options will begin to debut. 2028 marks the opening of the first two hotels, and after 2029, the planned housing will take the market. Finalizations and fixations span for a few years before OCVIBE is fully ready to be opened to the public.
