Ozzy Osbourne performed a final concert with Black Sabbath titled “Back To The Beginning” in their hometown of Villa Park in Birmingham, England on July 5.

76-year old Osbourne, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019 which greatly affected his ability to walk, sat on a bat-themed throne as the legendary band performed what they say was their final gig. Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer and other major bands were also part of the line up in Villa Park that day.

“Back To The Beginning” reunited Black Sabbath for the first time in 20 years. This concert marked the end of Osbourne’s touring career, although he plans to continue recording music.

Ozzy played five songs from his solo career, after which he was joined by his Sabbath bandmates— guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist and lyricist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward— for four more, finishing with 1970 classic Paranoid.

Fans came from all over the world for the historic moment with over 42,000 people filling the sold-out venue. The event was hosted by Jason Momoa and the iconic show was dubbed the "heavy metal Live Aid,” for which profits will go to three charities: Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice. This will be an amazing tribute to the band as well as awareness for these diseases.
