In the practice court in Wimbledon, they recorded a TikTok to make a statement that there was no bad blood between the two.

Gauff was praised for her grace towards the Belarusian and for avoiding adding fuel to the fire. In many press conferences, she clarified that she did not want to spread hate and understood the frustration her opponent was going through.
